In Jeff’s Words…
Three years ago I was at 185lbs feeling happy and healthy. I moved to Mandeville for a short time while I was shopping for my house. I got in the routine of skipping the gym and eating fast food for every meal with commuting taking up so much time during my day. So while I was looking for a new gym Thao told me about how much she loved the Vitality family. So I decided to give it a chance and here I am!
I'm still not even close to where I would like to be physically. I still need to seriously work on my diet and somehow fitting more rest into my days. However, my endurance and stamina has come a long way while trimming a tiny bit of fat and gaining some overall strength.
I'd like to get back down to my 185 weight eventually. I'm not in a rush and would just like to get down to around 190 by the end of this year.
Vitality is like a close knit family, the trainers and clients all genuinely care for each other and actively take part in each others progress and journey. It's a great place for anyone who's looking to start their own fitness/healthy adventure with no judgement and a great team to support them along their way.
In Kristin’s words..
Jeff has been with Vitality since November 2018. I recognized him! We figured out that we were both working out at the same gym a few years back. Jeff was pretty shy and quiet when he first joined VBK. As time passed he started really coming out of his shell and warming up to the group. What I love about Jeff is his relentlessness while also knowing his physical boundaries. His will always push himself, right up until the end of every class. I am so grateful at how he really takes to new faces in the gym. He makes a great "bench press buddy."
I’ve watched his mobility get progressively better and see his gains in the strength department. I want arms like Jeff! Jeff has a great sense of humor and doesn't take himself too seriously which is very refreshing.
Jeff, thank you for being so supportive of the VBK group. We love you, dearly!
